David is one of the founding partners of GLG LLP. He has a general business law practice with a focus on corporate law. David helps businesses, and the individuals behind the businesses, achieve their goals through his practical and effective advice. As an entrepreneur, David understands the importance of building a strong foundation for a new or growing business.
David’s practice includes matters that span across the life of a business, including:
David helps his clients efficiently tackle a broad range of legal issues from transactional structuring to risk mitigation and contract drafting. He has helped businesses raise capital through times of rapid expansion, acquire competing enterprises, and restructure their affairs through complex reorganizations. He works with businesses across a wide range of industries and, through this diverse experience, has developed a sensible and effective approach to handling the legal hurdles that businesses face on a daily basis.
Prior to joining GLG LLP, David worked at a leading national firm. David graduated with distinction from Western Law and has a Bachelor of Arts degree in History.
In his personal life, David is an avid cook, having earned a culinary degree before entering the legal profession. He is an amateur photographer and dog lover. In his spare time, David can be found exploring the Toronto restaurant scene.
